That reminds me of when we met this group of guys at a local street race. They knew some of my guys, so we were just talking when one guy said, "Dude, have you seen that white Prelude that whooped Chris's *their "fastest" guy* hatch?" I overheard this and remember the night before at the drag strip when I smoked a stripped out B18c1 hatch with slicks. So I run around the corner and drive it around *parked it out of the view of the cop's if they should happen to show up* I pulled up, rolled my window down and said "You mean THIS one?" All of their jaws dropped.

That's my claim to fame And yes it's pretty strange at first when somebody walks up to you.. "VTC Civic?" Uhh.. do I know you? lol

yeah its pretty funny cause where i live in was also known with the black integ. but my car is steel gray now so the guy with the black integ is dead. now its the guy with the grey turbo integ. haha

 

Yep.. with a lovley 2.4 60' time, I managed to limp to a 14.1 @ 100.3mph, decent 60' and it's a 13.6-13.7 car all day

 

Car/mods please? any other info you can spit out! If thats an autos times I need to know more info!!!

 

dont wanna say... small town in sd county.... 90k people. too many thieves and i kind of regret recognition, people might try to rob me thinking i actually have something valuable in my car.

 

LOL...too many people know who I am..I dont like it. If i do something big to my car.the info will get into the wrong hands..thats why im thinking about a side mount intercooler

 

as far as I know, I'm pretty much unknown.

 

I had a rep before I had my car... people from all around knew who I was. One of the problems of being popular. Never gave me a big head. Now that I am into cars... no one knows me. How funny life is.

 

Apperently BEFORE I got my turbo, people were already nicknaming me "Turbo" at work! LOL I'm sure I've been noticed around town. When its fully on, I'll stop by the local import shops and say hi.

of course its happened to me. i just thought it was gay talking about it. its one thing for you to come on here and say "i just put this on my car" or "i just ran this time" or "what do you guys think of this", but to come on here and talk about other people riding your nuts???? i guess i just thought that was gay.

 

That is a bit on the gay side. Its kinda like bragging about how popular you are. Kinda sounds like "hey everyone my car is so fast and so cool that everyone knows who I am". But I dont think he meant it like that. I think he is just surprised that people know his car.
