Does anyone know where I can get some information about engine swaps/rebuilds, and engine purchases for a 95 Dodge Ram 2500 van?

I searched google before I typed this, but am coming up a little empty. I am going to buy a helms manual for it, but I might need to grab an engine as I hear the one it has is bad (I have not looked at it yet so who knows....) Maybe I can swap in a diesel or something.

Any help would be great.

BTW, if I put a turbo diesel in it, it would be FI related .
