opinion on using this for intercooler piping
i've been debating whether or not to use this stuff for intercooler piping...i know its ugly, but some parts stores offer it for pretty cheap.

will it withstand heat and boost? will couplers make a good seal on them? my main concern isnt looks at all........more function over looks.

yeah, you can try it if you want but it also seems to me that it will not have good air flow at all....it would probably be just as cheap (if that's what you're going for) to use some pipes & couplers from home depot or lowes or something. otherwise just get some pre-bent aluminum (or whatever you want to use) and make your own piping.
Just use the pre-bend piping that they sell on their...air flow will not be as efficient as if you used straight piping. Then again it would be a nice experiment

I know the JC Whitney sells pre-bent piping (45*,90*,and180*)
I was planning on using that, and hopefully not having to do anying bending myself.

I don't think that stuff will hold pressure. I've used something similar before and you could see exhaust leaking out of it when the engine was cold.
Might not hurt to buy a small piece and pressure test it.
