only 310???
i was at Import REV and was talking to a guy wtih chicagolands fastest civic at 10 something. anyways, i was telling him i have a vafc and 12:1 fmu and stock injectors still and was tellnig him i wanted 440s and was saying you cant do that .. he said w/out hondata he wouldnt do anything over 310cc?????
i said what about the hack? he still said it wont work.. what is up with that? what do you guys recommend? i dont wanna blow my engine up like someone i know

he's probably not around the tuning world enough to know about the hack set-ups. He's probably only aware of stand-alone set-ups or stock set-ups (stock ecu limits).
just because he has the "fastest car" doesn't mean he's the smartest.
There is a guy around here that owns a shop (doing quite well actually) and he has a civic that was runing low 12's before he blew the engine, since then he's had it built completely (rods,pistons,sleeved, head work, stand-alone,etc,etc...) thousands invested in this engine, i havent seen it run recently but it should be good for 10's easly. Anyways he's an idiot when it comes to tuning, I asked him a simple question and he had no clue, he knows nothing about tuning, he pays someone else to do it for him. just goes to show just because he owns a fast car doesn't mean he knows everything about it.
there are planty of people on this board that run that set-up with great sucess

or try the uberchip.
I'm doing my own version of the hack which involves a 4:1 fmu 310cc injectors, sfc to lean it out a little more. works good for me my air fuel ratio is between 12.0 and 12.5 in boost.

would it make any difference to do the 440s with vafc hack or do the 440s with uberchip, or 310 with uberchip? im looking for 9 psi, with low fuel pressure
