Default Oliver rods?

Does anybody here know anything or have ran oliver rods before? My buddy is trying to sell me a set of Oliver rods, but they are pretty spendy and I'm paying at his dealer cost too. How are they compared to the higher end names like Pauter, Carillo, manley, etc.??

Oliver is a HIGH QUALITY ROD!!!! I know my buddy is running them made 620whp and all good, they melted a piston recently because of a HUGE BOOST SPIKE, these rods are still good!! Not many people run them in Imports, Iheard the owner of Oliver is not an Import fan BUT makes good rods for them, go figure! hehe WASSUP PAUL?
