I always recommend smoking a cigarette while installing a fuel pump. If none are available, crack can be substituted.
No seriously, it's pretty easy, and will be readily apparent what you need to do once you get in there.

ok, so i have the option of installing the fuel pump down by my tank.....
or up between my fuel rail and my fuel filter
i chose the second one cause i dont feel like working under my car with gas all over me. so i have it all rigged up yet the line from the fuel rail to the pump is not long enough so it can reach my AC line (where i mount the pump) plus the fuel rail half has a banjo on it, so i cant just replace that line, so i have to put a barb connecter in and extend the line.....does anyone see this being a problem since the ID of the line will be slightly smaller in the barb area? will this cause flow problems? HELP!
