My car is a 98 Civic EX D16Y8.

I already have 440's and PowerFC w/Commander +pump for fueling... and other things... so that's not really a problem...

Oh yeah... Drag=$3015 Apexi=$3032

Prices are with intercoolers.

So, which is it?

Please help.

I like the fact that the A'PEXi unit is bb, but it's a smaller turbo...
I'm conflicted

 

Yes, it's bigger then a Greddy kit (ewww), but not as big as a Drag T3T4. I just don't want hella lag on my SOHC motor. If I had a B18 in there first, then I'd definatly get a DRAG!

Well, it's either one of these turbos or even pondering doing a GSR Swap. But I don't want to spend too much on just a swap and GSR's a still a bit hard to find. Anyone know of a good place to get a GSR w/o ecu and axles... Basically just the Engine. Hell, I don't even need the intake manifold. Gona use a Skunk on it anyway. Can't run Dual Runners with PowerFC w/o changing harnesses.

Anyway, enough blabeling...

 

get the apexi.... if you've done your research on it you'd know its got a lot of potential. it makes the hp of a greddy turbo tuned... untuned (fmu setup) at the same psi.

 

If you want to make real power, get the drag kit.

 

I would say get the bigger turbo and spray it with some laughing gas for less lag!!!
