Default Ok, need a quick track tip..

I'm hitting Moroso this Friday, so I'd like to know from you guys what you think would be better, should I run out of my cat, or right off the DP? I'm still usuing the stock GReddy straw sized DP, stock cat and stock EX catback so I'm pretty sure i'm choking the turbo, and since this is just for the track I figured I could unbolt the exahust but I'm not sure if I should leave the stock cat on or remove it too. Whatever it is I do, I just want to ensure there are no detremental effects to the car, just the noise

BTW my friend (he's an ASE Master Tech @ MB) told me I might have problems overheating if I remove the exahust and run like that all the way up to West Palm Beach from Miami, seem right to you?

Ok so run with just the DP in place.. sounds right? Any problems other than noise with running like this for the day?

No cat, just be sure to put it back on so you don't get some sort of ticket.

Go with some friends.. and take off the exhaust at Moroso. Or, take it off at home and drive slowly to Moroso.. gonna take more than 1hr and half probably.. heh.

I don't understand, why do you have to drive the car all the way to the track without the exhaust? Just take it off at the track.

Take the cat off it slows the car down too much....Also the turbo makes the exhaust a little quieter....just dont stop at too many lights...If you travel highway thats good...the other cars around you probably not even notice if you keep revs low Good luck!
