Default Ok MF2 question and help

Ok here is the deal my last MF2 from f-max was bad sent it back.Well i plugged it up with the settings they sent me. Well the car would die when reved up w/those setting. So i kept on playing with it.Well now all my dail settings are turned all the way down. But it feels like it steal not getting enuff fuel.grrrrr But when the car boost a little it blows black smoke a sign of running rich. The f-max kit is on a 94 vtec lude, 9:1 compression. So i don't know what is up. Don't know if i should bother to fix it. I am holding out for hondata. But it will be after X-mas before i get it. I guess i want it to run better. Maybe i should just wait dunno??

you need to get it tuned right . obviously how they sent it to you was wrong, but the way you have it now probably isn't much better. so you need to figure out if you wanna spend the money having it tuned, or on a stand alone.

maybe you should check your two additional injectors to see how they are behaving. Just a thought. Its the only other thing I could think of.

Replaced the map sensor? Hmmm...with what? I would definately check that MF2 and tune it right...it sounds like its hitting the injectors too hard

you're running rich...so it seems by your description...that tells me that either the injectors are not right or the MF2, or it the wiring in general....Since you said that the injectors are sendin fuel, Id check the switches in the MF2 to make sure its sending the right amount of fuel at the right times....you don't want it send too much fuel at low RPMs...thats where Id start at least

i don't know if this helps..but i just installed fmax into my 00' gsr...i was having the same problems. the mf2 was all dicked up and when my boy who installed the turbo called and they said you have to tune it because it's for "normal cars" spec. i was also having problems w/ the 2 extra injectors but now the problem is solved cuz i bought a missing link and fuel regulator. Time to ask Ben from importparts for parts
