Just wanted to bring this back up to the top and find out what the general consensus was. Anything new on this?

I have the Z10 fitting on my motor (B18C1). There is a brass plug on the back of the oil pump. You need an allen wrench to take it out. However, my motor is still out of the car, so I can't tell you my experiences with it.

zygspeed.. it shows a pic of that location but they didn't use that location for long! After seeing low psi readings before VTEC engagement they opted to use the stock idiot light spot instead.

Me and a friend connected our oil psi gauges to this spot about 5 years and we both quickly changed to the stock idiot light spot until we got our oil cooler kits. My Omori relocator block had it's own port for oil temp and psi while his HKS sandwich also had a port for psi.

I currently have an APP oil cooler kit and the oil psi port on the sandwich is used as the feeder for the turbine oil inlet. I will be adding an adapter simillar Z10 piece to the oil pump for my oil psi gauge.

We only saw .5 to .9kgcm(7.9~12.8psi) before VTEC changeover. That's just fine for idle but it's not enough for a the 3k rpm to VTEC range because the turbo while be turning anywhere from 40k to 60k rpm.

use the spot where the oil pressure sensor is located. it is just above and to the left of the oil filter. every tuner i have ever run into has used that spot.

I know oil psi is low at idle BUT it also rises as soon as you goose the engine. With the port near the VTEC solenoid psi doesn't change until the valve actually spools.
