If there is not cat on the car then run rotella T5 10w30 or brad penn 10w30 motor oil. Both have zinc addatives which greatly reduce wear on internals

I've been sold on group 5 oils like Motul, Amsoil, Redline, etc... I didn't think there was much of a difference until I experienced Motul and I'm sold!

Used to be just plan Rotella or Synthetic Valvoline... But I've noticed a decrease in temps with Motul, and since my tuner turned me on to it with my new set up I'm not looking back... For my car that's not daily driven, a $47 oil change isn't bad in my book! (So it's almost double the price from what I use to pay)

I've tried the Rotella but it caused a lot of noxious fumes, not that the engine burnt oil..... I donno seemed to not be an issue with RP or M1

Hmm, i dont notice any other oil vapor odors aside from a normal oil odor with my car. i know if im a little over filled with oil it smells like oil hard core but when at proper level it just has a small odor from the catch can which is on par with conventional motor oiil

Were you running the general 15w40? Maybe its a little different im running synthetic T5

Yes I was running the conventional 15/40 available at the auto parts store. I autocross the car and use a valve hover breather system that gets sucked in my vents due to it's location and it's vicinity in regards to the vent intake so I notice it easily.
