oil pressure switch
hello everybody.
i was wondering how did you all removed your oil pressure switch while you installed your feed line "T"
i changed my oil filter today and i noticed that the oil switch has a hard palstic cover on it... how do i remove it?
is it complicated to screw the "T" into the block? do i need to remove somthing to that will be in my way when ill screw the "T"?

A wrench or socket will work. The black rubber thing is what I think you are talking about and that is the wire connector, just pull it off and take out the switch.
Don’t forget you need a 1/8 BSPT fitting going into the block NOT a 1/8 NPT fitting.

Installing it to me was the hardest part about installing a turbo. It is so cramped up there. Plus my car was barely raised on the ground (OEM jack).

lol i thought it was the hardest part of the install too lol
to the poster..check out http://www.tunertoys.com they have a fitting made especially for this application. you may want to consider going from their fitting to a T you put on the firewall for easier access and more room. this is what i plan on doing once i get some time to work on it lol
but if you can find a 1/8thbspt to AN you would be better off to get that run a line to a T on the firewall and work from there..supposedly Ts have a tendency to break from the vibrations of the block if you screw them straight to the block.. but i dunno if that really happens better safe than sorry though

I havent installed mine yet, but from what I read on here, yes. The oil goes though the filter and the adapter allows oil to flow to whatever you have connected. The adapter I have has 3 ports. And yes, the oil sending unit would still be connected like it was pre turbo
