oil pressure sensor

Default oil pressure sensor

i did a search and found nothing...

If I remove the oil pressure sensor for my oil feed line will the "check oil" light come on? Thanks.

mine was disconnected for 2 months and the light never came on

honda sensor is a peice of ****...if u ever see the light your already in deep **** a few weeks back but no..it wont

Id use a t for it anyhow because wont the ECU go limp if it reads no oil pressure?

No, you are completely wrong. The sensor is only a pressure switch that will ONLY send a ground signal to the idiot light on your gauge cluster......pretty much your fucked if it ever comes on cause there will pretty much not be any oil in the pan.

Removed it months ago to put in my oil pressure gauge... no ECL.

never knew that 93LSivic ... learned something new
