I am having the same problem with my built and sleeved motor except on the two pistons with the oil the compression is slightly higher. We are leaning towards the valve seals leaking.I was also told it could be due to rings but that answer was also said to have bad coompression too?

Well then I would do a leak down and see what you come up with.I also had a head on my motor that was working fine but i changes the springs and retainers in mine and then the problem started. When does it smoke under load or at idle?It is smoking right?

Have you noticed any oil in the coolant too sorry I forgot to ask in the previous post.I coudnt find any in mine either but I could here a slight sound of air leaking between cylinders when doing the compression test which made my tuner think it was in the head somewhere.
