Default Oil Pans, Is There A Difference?

I am purchasing a DragIII Kit off of a B16 this week from a friend and was wondering if I am able to use his oil pan on my GSR??? Will my oil pan fit on his motor???

Thanks.

No you cant put a B16A oil pan on a GSR because of the GSR's block girdle.

But will a GSR oil pan fit a B16A?

Perhaps you have to use the B16 pickup when you use the B16 pan.

I know for a fact that the b17a and b18a pans and pickups are identical. The b16a and b17a are, for the most part, the same.

So A GSR will fit on a B16 block then?

I'm thinking it will because theres no girdle to get in the way.

The GSR pan will work on the b16a, you'll just need the GSR pickup as well.
