oil and filter question!
what brand and weight do most ppl run on their boosted cars? im boosting my em1 this weekend, and it isnt driving during cold temps, just summer months so mostly 70-80 degrees! and also whats everyones opinion on a good oil filter?
HAHA, don't listen to this guy, Royal Purple is overrated and so are OEM honda filters
valvoline full synthetic is a great oil, or if you are really worried about your motor and if it's a race car the valveoline race oil is great! it has zinc in it to help coat cam journals, bearings etc.. but you'll need to let the oil warm up before driving around.. i'm using it now on my daily and i let my coolant reach about 130* F before i drive it around
k&n is a great oil filter brand, Tony Palo mentioned he uses this on his 8 second drag car, it also boosts oil pressure up a few psi compared to a oem honda filter..
but i usually run WIX or HAMP filters, all of these are great and many will vouch for them!

ok ill geta WIX tomarrow and i wasnt sure how well synthetic would work. with the motor being a fresh rebuild i should run nonsynthetic first right?
