Default Oil feed for precision BB turbo

Ok so I have a sick 50 a/r turbo and it's ball bearing I bought this oil feed line and it came with this restrictor but it's the only thread that fits in the block so I left it there but made the hole a little bigger. My tuner says I need another restrictor on the turbo and I agree bc no matter what I'm still dripping oil at high Rpms. My question is..has anyone ever put a restrictor at both ends?

the answer would be no! because anyone who knows and understand turbo will just get the right oil restrictor and call it a day.

We'll that was my plan but I'm kinda stumped trying to find what size restrictor for my bb t3 turbo on a b18b

Where is your oil source coming from?

What size feed line are you using?

A 0.035 restrictor will do the trick.

If I spent a ton of money on a ball bearing turbo I would call the manufacturer to make sure I was using the correct size restrictor before I ruined my sick turbo.

and the block fitting isn't a restrictor, it's an AN fitting. smh

I'd say just run brake line to the same size as your correct restrictor size would be only if that size is available. I use 3/16 brake line directly into my turbo.

restrictors are only a few hundredths of an inch in diameter...they don't make tubing that small.

there s no point in putting 2 restrictors, it is stupid and you could make mistake and damage your turbo

if you have the turbine stock restrictor use it. If you use more than 0.08 restrictor mabe you will have oil consumption problem.

contact with a turbo technician or the dealer you bought the turbo to consult about the proper size of the restrictor.
