Default Oil drain issues???

Well I have a gsr with a mini mani which hangs the turbo pretty low. My issue is that I have the moroso stock replacement oil pan with the tap but when I dropped the car with out the drain line (to check) oil is coming out. I raised the car in the front and it is still leaking. It drained a quart before it stopped. My car is not even crazy low like that. I checkd the motor mounts and all is good. The motor appears to be level now but if I add one quart it will leak.

Need some help here/ These are the pics all suggestions welcomed.

These pics are with the car on jackstands and look at the oil drain out.

some more pics I just too. i think I will get the barbed fittings with a 90 degree and see what will happen. Don't know if the tap is supposed to leak oil when the car is on the floor I thought that was not good as it would not let the turbo drain. I don't know

This is the manifold

How many quarts are you putting in the pan? My friend had the same pan, but with his turbo setup he could only use 4 instead of the 5 quarts that is is capable of holding becuase he thought it was backing up his return line. That might be the problem im not sure. If there was no return line there and it was running N/A then it wouldn't be a problem if the oil level was that high. just my .02

I guess I helped my self I just put a straight barbed fitting and cut the line a little smaller to make the bend tighter and with a better slope. Also I raised the car about 1.5 inches and took her for a spin. THere was no oil on the turbo or the lines so, so far so good.
Here is the pic of the line

Yeah I figured that but it was concerning since the line would have liquid and I assumed would cause condensation to come up the turbo. I don't know it scared the **** out of me.

I took it out for a 25 minute spin and boosted it about 3-4 times during this period only 2nd gear burst, and the turbo still leaks. The car has been lifted in the front, I know the car is level now, the line has been shortened to make it straighter, and I added a barbed fitting on the pan. I do not know what to do

This car is done but before I put the exhaust I run into this problem, this is killing me, this turbo is new. I am begining to think it was not the line and maybe something else. I have a restrictor but I have not put it on as I have been told not to do so. I am stumped. THe turbo seems perfectly fine and performs great but I do not want to mess it up so I want to resolve this ASAP. This is what I saw tonight when I came back

try clocking the center section towards the block. then you should be able to do a 90 of the oil pan and almost straight up to the drain.

platinum.

clock the center more toward the motor, it will give u a better angle for the oil to flow.... had to do the same thing on my car

I will try to do this but since the fitting is on the side of the pan will that be a too much of an angle. I am just surprised this thing is leaking as there is no slope on the line, and it is pretty good compared to the lines I have seen, also the turbo is pretty new. Would seals blow so quick?/

Should I tap the pan directly behind the turbo for a better angle, or re route the intercooler piping to the top so I can run a straight angle to the pan?

You were told to not install the restrictor?

You want to sell it then?

first i would clock the center section, that angle sucks then you could 45* off the center and 45* off the pan for a straight shot it looks like.

question=how many quarts can you put in before oil comes out the hole on the pan???

as a test to see if it is oil backup you could fill to the hole ONLY, with oil (if that is enough like 3-4 quarts) , make sure the drain goes down only no down and up i know you know this but.... then hook up the line and go test drive if it still leaks its not cause of backup.

the question is more like why is this turbo leaking? could it be my drain?
the pan stops to leak at like 3-3.5 quarts. I purchased a 90 for the pan and drain and increased it to 1/2" ID. Hopefully this will allow me a straighter bigger line. I will also clock the turbo straigh up/down for the 90 degree fittings.

yeah I know that is why I am trying to get the 90degree fittings to move it around that and make the line have more of an angle.
