Default Oil cooler question

hey! i got 375whp and planing on pushing more something around 450whp im runing a full rad for now but i need the extra space, so im switching to a half rad (aluminum) 2inch thick ...

I was thinking adding a engine oil cooler just to be safe ... so what should i be looking for? i saw some kits with oil filter relocator or just some basic coolers ... What type of cooler? what size? how many rows do i need a thermostatic switch... im not to sure maybe some one can guide me with there on personal experience.

Oh ya and planing on racing on the 1/4 mile !

Thanks

Default Re: Oil cooler question

you're not going to be pushing the oil temperature high long enough to need one. Keep it simple. No need for one for the 1/4 mile. Oil coolers are a bit more needed for road racing. I've even used a good half radiator in circuit racing.

No need. You're good for now.
