yes oil cooled turbo's love em'! I have a generic one from Pep boys that cost $80...with a little modding (a few washers) it works great. If your a big baller get the GReddy performance one...they retail for aroung $399 i think either way an oil cooler for Florida Turbo hondas is a good investment

i'm running the B&M. the hoses aren't stainless steel so you're pretty much getting what you're paying for. It comes with a filter relocator which is nice. I've had mine for over 2 years and it's worked fine!

Yeah, I just bought the giant B&M oil cooler alone (I forget the part #, but it was $50 or $55) and used Earls fittings and SS lines to it..........the B&M kit looks a little crappy with rubber hoses and the cooler itself is small.

I had the huge B&M unit. Ran it with no thermostat and temps hovered at 175-180. I'm now trying a 70+ row setrab unit (6" tall 2" deep & 22" long) pefect size to fit above and behind the bumber support. I was having issuse making the B&M fit with the IC, AC, and ps lines all in the same area. I know I know. It's overkill but I picked it up from ebay for 175 new and everywhere else I've seen them for around 500. Truth be told, I really don't need this for the street, however I may turn this car into a track only auto and I want it ready should I do it.

MiraiZ how much did all your fittings and SS line cost? the greddy one is just too expensive for my budget.

I run one. It's a great investment for the life of your engine and turbo. I assembled mine from parts off the net for about $110 bux. It actaully reduced my overall operating temp by about 10 degree's. Oh and just becuase, a kit has rubber lines doesn't make it crappy. SS lines are just ricer bullshit as far as i'm concerned.

Nah, you're cool dude. That was just a random rant. The B&M kit is kinda shitty. On mine I've got 11' of 1/2" PCV lines running from the back of the block to the cooler and back. Good stuff. In general with an external cooler you'll get a bit extra oil capacity, as well as keeping the pressure a bit more stable in your system. I found that when I take my foot off the throttle the oil pressure doesn't come down quite as fast.........dunno if that helps out in anyway

I'm not afaind of running rubber hoses on my car, hell the oil return line off my turbo is made from 1/2" hydrualic oil line. That **** is rated to like 3000PSI at least and is flame resistant. It's like 5 times as tough as SS lines at 1/4 the price....

But what do I know, i'm still a ghetto racer.
