oil cooler?
Depends on the application of the car. If it's a street car or drag car where it's under load for short bursts of time you don't really need one. If it's a road course car that's under load for a long time then I'd say you should invest in one.

hmmm ok well its going to be a daily driver... about 50-60 miles a days 25 miles to and from work all highway miles ... i was thinking i should get one
I'm an installing one on my ef with turbo b16 (16g evo turbo) this winter. Reason being I've had oil temps in summer get 220-230 ish. I run only mobile 1, however if I can get that a little lower it will ease my mind. I'm assuming most of the heat is from turbo circulation but that's a guess.ill be running a mocal oilstat sandwich plate so it will regulate temps around 180 mark. I've also noticed my airfuels changing the higher my oil temps climb which makes it challenging to keep a consistent tune. So I'm hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone by adding a oil cooler system.

OMG. It's like anything you do to these cars. You've been told it's not needed but if you feel that strongly that you have to have it then by all means slap that bad boy on and stop talking about it.
