I have a D16Z6 (SOHC VTEC).

I know that the oil capacity is 3.5 qts. And that's the amount you normally change in an oil change.

But the catch is, my motor is supercharged (Jackson Racing Supercharger). I just bought the car, and this will be my first oil change.

Is the supercharger self-contained in that it has it's own oil/lubrication system...? Or does it feed from the engine oil tank...?

In other words, for my oil change, do i have to use any more than the 3.5 qts i would use on an N/A D16Z6?
