Redrill/ Reweld d-series ramhorn to fit b-series.
Has anyone done this before and how far off is the spacing/ mounting holes. Thanks.

the ports are very close. i know people have put D greddy turbo kits on B engines back in the day, i saw it. silly.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it may be cheaper to sell that D and buy a B manifold. It will hold together better, since welding work-hardened/heat-cycled metal is prone to cracking.
And yes there is a market for them - SOHC parts are way cheaper, so "we" have lots more money to burn.

If your flange has enough meat around the holes, you might make it, but I have to agree with those folks who suggest selling the D and purchasing a correct B manifold for the engine.
If you try it, I'd suggest not trying to move the runners, just leave them where they are, and position them as well as you can over the B ports. You might also try buying just a B flange, centering it up over the D flange, and then welding them together. Then using the B side to start from, drill through the D flange. Also, blend the ports on the two flanges into each other, and then reweld to avoid cross bleed between runners.
