Default Oil catch can design help

If this needs to be moved then please do so.

This is what I plan on doing for my oil catch can. Sorry for the shitty drawing and hope you get the idea.

Any suggestions or criticism? Put something else inside?

So you need a filter to filter your filter?
Why do people keep trying to reinvent the wheel?

It's just oil and vapors gathering inside a can... putting things to restrict return flow will eventually sludge up (due to water vapor it will collect). Also, an inside filter is completely unneeded. If you aren't looking to spend a ton of money B&R Fittings sells a cheaper small cylinder with baffles for around $100 if I remember correctly. Also, if you get a plug for the stock breather box with an AN fitting on it you can use that for your drain since while it is under pressure it will be forcing oil to stay im the can. You are over complicating things.

the plate with the holes in it would be good enough. no need for another filter inside.
