Eehh....thanks guys. Note taken. I will see about getting some of those NGK plugs.

Use NGK BPR-7ES plugs, and gap them to like .026" or so.

Ok, I will get some more plugs and try it out.

any plug will burn if the car is not tuned right.i have used every plug out there and never once had a problem with the zex plugs. you can beleive what you want.but i would not be telling you they worked for me if they did not.as far as the part number is concerned, they only make one plug.

At this point man...I will try them all. I just want every option when I hit the dyno again. This will be my 5th trip. Getting old quick.

Your car sounded good yesterday (except the misfiring). Looks really good too. Too bad I didn't get to see the big blue flame

Right on man. I didnt even know this was you. I was videoing the car from inside when the 5 footer flame came shooting out the exhaust.

Thanks man. I added that to the list for the next dyno day. I think I have like 3 different things to try now.

One thing that I have seen a huge difference is plug wires, I **** you not. I have tried at least 7 different kinds. A leaking wire or a interference could cause all the difference, I would look for a different set of wires just to get something else to try. Borrow a friend plug wires, trust me its worth the effort. AsI stated bf I use the MSD dis2 with Haltech, we had a small misfire at higher rpm. We tried everything under the sun until we moved the Coils away from the distributor That was the problem.

I have tried 2 different sets of wires. One set was about 2000 miles old and the other one was brand new.

My coil is mounted on the firewall(HVC) and the blaster is behind the pass headlight. Plenty distance away.

Jason, I still say go to a colder plug. Guy has the colder iridiums on order, both 8's and 9's

Heat increases resistance, thus a hotter plug operating out of it's range will have a harder time getting the spark to jump the gap.

John, I am going to do that too. I will have like 3 sets of plugs to try out when I get there.

run the bcpr7es plugs for 450whp or so. Tony1 told me u might even want to check into the 8-series plugs. I run the hvc coil with digital 6 and gap at .028 and car runs fine. Paul
