would it be best to upgrade to an aftermarket head gasket (ie: cometic) or will a new oem gasket hold up fine? motor is stock internal gsr, plan to make around 350, 400whp max, but not going to be turboed for awhile.

 

im sure alot of people here are using oem head gaskets.
OEM one of the best

 

i would say a thick cometic to lower your c/r but if your not gonna be turbo for a while get an oem one

will the oem head gasket still hold up when i do turbo?

 

stick with oem since its the stock bore

 

thats why im using at 613whp. throw some arp head studs in when u replace the headgasket
