Default OEM Fuel Filter

I searched, but didn't gain any information.

Question:
How much power can an OEM fuel filter take? Would 400-550whp be out of the question?

Well if you can find me just the AEM replacement filter that'd do too (I already have an AEM one haha). AEM's site says it takes either a Fram CH6069 or NAPA PN4950......and of course no one carries either of those. I was going to be retuning for low 400's on pump gas tomorrow afternoon and wanted to throw a new filter on there.

EDIT: Quick reply though...one minute haha. Are you tracking me Ricky?

Fair enough. Looks like OEM should be sufficient for a couple hours of tuning.

NAPA wasn't able to order one in or check to see if another local store has one?

I went by Autozone on my lunch break to have them look up the Fram CH6069 part number and they said it comes up as an oil filter for a motorcycle. Does that sound right??

Well I was able to locate the PN4950 filter (now a PS4950) at NAPA this morning. I had called Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, and Pep Boys....none of them were able to find the CH6069 filter.

Yea, it's an oil filter. I guess AEM likes to use oil filters for their fuel filters.

Alright well I was able to find it at Autozone then, but it would have to be ordered in. Is the NAPA one the same exact thing I wonder?

I'd assume they are interchangeable filters. AEM's site say that the filter is just a "standard high flow filter" and they "recommend" using either a Fram CH6069 or a Napa Gold PN4950. Keep in mind that PN4950 has been superceded by PS4950 according to the Napa dealer. The Napa filter fit in there without a problem.

So you used the NAPA filter? I just picked one up today and it's the exact same shape and size as the one that came with the AEM, but it's got a hole on the top and bottom rather than just the bottom. I don't see how this is going to work. Did yours have a hole in the top and the bottom of the filter? I got the new part# PS4950.
