OEM Clutchs
Hi,
When I was still NA my stock SI clutch only lasted about 18000km (11000miles). Even from the beginning it was slipping a little. At the time I replaced it with a stock ITR clutch (disc and pressure plate).
Now I have 55500km (34700miles) and the clutch is still running strong. That include almost 3 months of boost. And even at the track with the slicks it doesnt slip at all.
Is the ITR clutch that much stronger? Everybody told me I should change my clutch when I installed my turbo. The stock Civic Si clutch would obviously slip like crazy but for some reasons the ITR can hold the 6000rpm slick launchs and the extra power with no problems.
Should I even bother looking for an aftermarket one?

Re: OEM Clutchs (Maxime)
Torque makes the clutch slip, you don't have lots of it yet.
20 PSI is a whole another story tho.
keep it until it slips
You could have asked that on another board we know before
