OEM 98+ Bumper with Precision FMIC?
I have a Precision 600hp medium core, and I was curious to see if and how they fit? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, just didn't think I could get enough response in the others. I did a search and came across one thread, but didn't have the Medium core.

I have the same set up, it takes a little bit of trimming but it eventually works. I had a bit more trouble with the ic piping than the intercooler itself, but then again I bought used pipe that were on a 'teg. Let me know if you would like to see some pics and Ill see what I can dig up .

Found this in another thread, it's the large 750hp core, but now I have an idea, and that mine will fit nice:

Here is mine w/ the 650hp Medium IC....
I trimmed the bottom of the bumper bracket just a little. I didn't need to though. It would have fit either way.
This is what it looked like last year without the trimmed bracket. Notice the smile look in the bumper cover....

Awesome, those were exactly what I was looking for. When you cut the bumper rebar did that flex in your bumper go away? And if it did, do you have new pics?

*not mine*
bros, 94-97 bumper, but with a precision 750hp. I think it looks sick.
the bumper had to be trimmed up, the intercooler was stopping alot of airflow.

Most likely because it is easier than taking your time, taking measurements and doing it right the first time.
I wanted to leave the bumper bar there because it is there for safety and ridigity. You are losing integrity of the car when you cut all that crap out.

Well i think the intercooler would take the impact as well as that bar. i dont see how putting an intercooler there is any worse then hacking the **** out of the support and making it weaker. i figure if you get in a wreck bad enough to bend that **** the whole uni-body is goung to be messed up anyway.
Just my 2 cents.
