Default Obx/morosso Type pan input/advice required

Ok so i went and bought an OBX pan because my present pan has a big dent in it, dont ask me why i just didnt buy a morosso pan instead for an extra few dollars even i dont know.
Anyway i just need you to check a few things out on it for me. on the front face in the top right corner is that the oil return source for the turbo??
http://www.we-todd-did-racing....x.jpg

also that plate that sits on the top of the pan with the two screws on it, does that need to be conected or do i take that off when i put the oil pan on, whats it for?
and finally any1 see anything wrong with it apart from its OBX, im hesitant because i dont wanna risk my built block, and turbo because of an oil pan.
Your help would be appreciated.

looks like it was setup for an obx "dry sump" setup or something, because these no place for a pickup... unless obx screwed up and didnt finish completing the pan

isn't the sump on the wrong side? It looks opposite to the moroso pan?

Definitely don't use that lower bung for the oil return because it will be below the surface level of your oil, it's going to create problems with oil backing up and also probably will cavitate your oil pump. Use the higher fitting for the oil return. You definitely should have chosen the Moroso pan, it's a much better thought-out piece.

edit: after looking at all the pictures, this definitely looks like an attempt at a dry-sump oil pan.

it wont work....

theres no place for the sump to fit in.... that cover panel (if it werent for a dry sump, which it looks like it is) would be cut out for a pickup

Look it up on Summit, it'll cost you big dollars to go dry sump. I wouldn't go through all that unless it's a race only car.

Ha, those obx oil pans are not best looking ones and they fit like ***. My experience, had to drill out all of the holes to make it fit. I wish someone esle would start making these just a little cheaper than moroso, but with good crasftmanship. I bet you they would make good money.
