Default OBX intercooler results!

Well i just tuned a friend's turbo ls hatch tonight with his new new 11.5" tall obx(gasp!) intercooler. Under boost the intake temps got as low as 92 degrees. Pretty decent for a $200 intercooler. Just thought i'd let everyone know how impressed i was with this thing.

This was on 10psi. We didn't test the pressure drop though so i'm not sure on that.

Oh and just to let you guys know this was a fairly warm day. Probably around 80 something degrees at the time and fairly humid.

We may be testing it back to back with a 6" johnnyracecar intercooler soon to see the difference in temps.

it may indeed cool better but you wont know if its losing power because of the pressuredrop, the 6" cooler may be slightly less inefficent at cooling but could have better allround characteristics hence more power made with it.

He doesn't have the jrc anymore so we didn't get a chance to test back to back, but we were recently running 20psi on this setup and it still stayed cool
