obd2-obd1 jumper question
my friend has a '00 civic si with a gsr swap in it he did the skunk 2 wire harness conversion to a obd1 gsr ecu. we are putting a drag gen 3 turbo kit on it and the question i have is....... the sensor that plugs into the intake what do i do with it?
when i unplug it it throughs a code and i don't know what to do with it....i thought when you used the obd2-obd1 jumper it eliminated that sensor? anyway any help would be great thantks

Re: obd2-obd1 jumper question (grntrex)
That is your IAT (intake temp. sensor). Used on all Hondas. The simpilest thing to do is extend it and put it in the intake tube between the filter and the turbo inlet. Assumeing your running a filter. Or, as I did, upgrade to the Type R intake manifold and get the IAT that bolts into the manifold.

Don't you think it would be more appropriate for the sensor to read the actually charge air temperature (aka after turbo and intercooler) like in the stock location of being in the charge pipe directly before the throttle body? The only consideration I see is having it pressurized and blown out...
You can even do the ebay resistor trick, as long as you calculate the resistor value properly, ala: http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/C...0.pdf
