Use an multimeter and test for continuity between the injectors and the dead end plug. And test one of the wires for +12v.

The injectors will run 4 signal wires (each different color) to the ecu, and the other four are usually the same and tie right into ground. If you check the clip's connections to ground, you'll find the right wires. The resistor box can be put ANYWHERE on that ground wire, it doesn't matter. Just don't do it on the signal wires - all 4 injectors will fire each time you inject fuel. 4 times the fuel amount is bad...

It might be, but you need to check it yourself. Take a cheap multimeter ($10 at radioshack, checks resistance & voltage), touch one lead/point to the engine block, the other onto the deadend (follow a wire to the injectors). If you get zero volts and ~0.4-2 ohms, that should be ground. If it says +12 volts, that is NOT the right deadend connector.

Resistor box should recieve +12v not ground.
