obd0-obd1(b18a-b18b)question??
ok i have a 91 teg that is equiped with the stock b18a. Im purchasing the b18b that is obd1. If i wanted to keep it obd one could i get the obd0-obd1 harness with the p75 ecu and be fine??? im wondering b/c im going turbo here soon and ive heard the the obd1 is better for tuning.
thanx

you can retain all of the OBD0 stuff and use TurboEdit if you are going FI. TurboEdit is great for the LS non-vtec stuff. Its the VTEC stuff thats still being worked on thats not 100% yet...
but yes, you can buy a conversion harness, retain all of the OBD1 sensors and go with UD just the same

This guys a moron...he is saying it sucks because he doesnt know what he is doing when it comes to OBD0.
IMO its always better to stay with the OBD version you have, if you can unless its a matter of using VTEC. Right now, the OBD1 VTEC code is just better.

No, i used the stock map sensor surprisingly and saw steady 11.7-11.9 AFRs in the upper boost ranges.
Put down the #'s in my sig at Boosted-Hybrid's shop in Easton, PA on his dynapack. My compression test that day yielded
190 100 190 210

so the obd0 is ok???? what about uberdata and the stock ecu. I kind of feel the same way about swaping ecu's and i didnt want to do it unless i had to but im looking for a great tune with no problems.

No, you'll need a 4 wire o2 sensor and an OBD1 distributor. I personally love Uberdata. I ran it when the car was NA and now that it is FI, I love UD even more
. ( I can't comment on Turbo Edit cause I have never used it)

it all depends, obd0 and turboedit is great, i made 265 whp on it
, but if u want all the bells and whistles that hondata offers i would go obd1 and get chrome or uberdata. All u need is a obd0--> obd1 harness (105 blownhatch
) and the obd1 dizzy which it sounds you have. You can disable the o2 heater and retain a single wire o2 or wire up hte four wire or my personal favorite get a wideband and use the narrow band output.
all and all it depends on your goals/money
