Default o2 sensor on turboed b16a3

ok,i had a exhaust leak between the manifold and head, acted like a wastegate by not letting me maintain boost,i took it all apart and fixed it,no more leak, but as sson as i started the car,i got a code 41 for the o2 sensor(95 civic).the sensor is atleast 6-7 years old and the car runs very rich because it is still in the early tuning stages, would this combo make the sensor go bad?or is it something else,is it the ecu telling me the car is running to rich?before i fixed the leak it didnt get the full exhaust, now it does and now its throwing the code, the o2 sensor is in the stock location located almost directly under the inatke manifold, its securly plugged in and i havnt messed with anything related to the sensor, does it just need to be replaced i wonder, what is the normal life of a o2 sensor?also,my a/r gauge is stuck in one spot.

I bet you jacked the wiring... get a multimeter and verify there is continuity between the o2 at the ECU and the sensor itself.
