I'm throwin some weird codes here......P0130, and P0131.....

P0130 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0131 O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I replaced my o2 sensor ..the one before the cat..with an o2 sensor that was for after the cat.....are the o2 sensors interchangeable??

anyway>>> some ideas would be very helpful to solve this problem!!!

Did you replace the O2 sensor because you were getting the wierd codes?
Or did you get the wierd codes after you replaced the O2 sensor? Is there a reason you used a secondary o2 sensor for the primary o2 sensor location?

 

ok i know people get pissed off with stupid waste of time posts but what the hell does "bump" mean???? I've ignored it 4 a while but it's everywhere and it's pissn me off not known what it means/

 

I replaced the o2 sensor because it was throwing codes......i was under the impression that the o2 sensor after the cat was interchangeable with the one before the cat...... and that specific o2 i found cheaper($$)..... I was under the impression both are "interchangeable" am i wrong??

 

i think that the o2 are interchangable. try to reset the ecu, then start up your car. if the cel comes on right away, your wiring is mess up somewhere. if you could drive for awhile, hours or days, then the 02 is malfunctioning. hope this help

 

Yes the O2 sensors are interchangeable aftermarkets list the same part number for both.
