Default o2 bung on downpipe?

Sorry noobie on boost here, but i just want to make sure. Can you disable the o2 censor if the downpipe doesn't have a bung for the o2?

whoops, had it backwards. The rear o2 sensor isnt used in obd1.

If you want to take out the front o2 sensor and put in a wideband, you can disable it with tuning and whatnot to do so.

How positive are you that the OBDI ecu won't trhow a code if you take the old o2 sensor out and put in a wideband?

You'll need to edit the ROM and disable o2 sensors... making your car run in a closed loop. If not, you will throw a code and your car will run like ****.

I do it all the time on cars I street tune, not a big deal.
