Default O-ringing

Is it a good idea to o-ring a motor built for boost? Can someone explain why, or possibly why its a bad idea/unecessary (if so)?

yeah, its a good idea. you use a stock honda head gasket, and the copper o-rings allow for it to make a better seal.

Yes, it is... I went through an entire season on 26psi on 1 stock head gasket, with copper spray and copper o-rings . I am not a fan of aftermarket head gaskets

thats not what i meant. what i meant was, at my boost level, do i even need to worry about it, or is it just pointless?

Most sleeving companies will give you the option of O-rings or stepped deck. Both methods work equally as well. It is more labor intensive and takes more skills to do O-rings than a stepped deck.
You do not want to use o-rings with a stock sleeve block, however.
Ask your sleeving company if they offer this option at no extra charge.
