Default Not Honda related, but some new toys going on my Supra

Special thanks to Andrea at Boosted-Hybrid for getting me this turbo quickly.
Boostfed gave me an awesome deall on the Wastegate too.
I had the manifold custom made from a member on Supraforums.
Should be a pretty decent little street set up

ooo bling bling.

is that a master power turbo?

what size wg is that? 50mm??

oh hey I see divided tang too. you ought to try out that little block off plate thing some of the guys on turbomustangs.com are goofing around with to get quicker spool from the turbo...though it will increase your backpressure

No its a Garret 61mm. Full T4
I think they also refer to it as the blowzilla.
I never heard of blocking off one of the ports. But it doesnt sound like something Ill need. Its a small turbo. Spool shouldnt be an issue at all.

Thw WG is a 44mm

ahh ok. yeah, I've heard of the blowzilla before just that compressor housing looked a lot like the MP housings I've seen so I was curious.

oh and here's the link to that thread I was talking about.

http://www.turbomustangs.com/f...spool

pretty interesting but the increases in backpressure they're talking about kinda has me hesitant with it as an option

dont u dare to block a passage for the turbo
thats just dumb as **** and asking to break it

the turbo already has the divided housing for that same reason, to make it spool faster

There's no need to block a port since the manifold is somewhat setup for a divided housing.

If you know somebody who is looking for a 2JZ turbo kit I have access to an HKS GT3040 kit.

It is exactly set up for a divided turbo. I guess that normal with a 6cyl with the way the collectors will work for the extra tubes for the extra cylinders?
I dunno. Im far frm a fabricator. lol
I just know its normal to have divided on a Supra.

Ill ask around Dee.Post on Supraforums. Someone will grip it up im sure

Cmon you know me better that that dont you?
Yes he made it from a direct copy from his. He made his copy originally from a BL manifold, which is a direct copy of a trust manifold. SSAC copie's the same manifold.
Kinda like the Ramhorn style for Hondas, Everybody dupes it.
This is full 321SS , thicker then SSAC , cuz I have felt them in hand before.
He told me all about his welding process and stuff and put the WG flange on there that I wanted and such.
He is a trustworthy dude. He got a Bl kit frm an MKIV and made a manifold to fit the 1J duplicating that style and used the rest of the stuff from the kit for his car.

Well its not the Supra everyone invisions. Its an MKIII with a JZ swap.
I had a deal going with an MKIV recently too and decided to hold off until this one was done. I cant have too many projects. Ill go even more nuts than I already am.
I will have both in my stable in due time.

Thanks again for the kind words though. I am gonna wait a little to put it all on. I wanna get track times in the next few weeks and some dyno time to see where it sits before taking her apart again
I only have a few hundred miles on the swap. lol.
I get sick of things easy.
The twins are mad fun though, but power is very important to me
