For those that couldn't make it, you missed some of the best racing I have seen all season in big ol' Texas. Major props go out to the Bullish team, Jotech, and Padilla. And my prayers go out to Lisa Kubo. In case you haven't heard by now both solara's of the bullish team hit 6's and george hit a 202 mph pass and his team mate was just a hair behind on the mph mark but was nonetheless in the 6.9x. That was a treat to see them head to head in the final. Oh keep in mind these are 6 cylinder beast pushing 1600 hp!!!! Dammit, I like seeing the turbonetics v8 celica, but I sure do believe these guys deserved that 25K check from summit. In the Pro 4 (hotrod) class Kenny blasted thru the traps in a mere 8.59@170 mph.. setting the world record as the fastest unibody once again! ... whooo hooo.. that was nice! *Norris P.* [edit note: lack of sleep causing me not to think straight ] in the all motor class hit a 10.6x @ 128 in his integra. My friends and I were chatting w/ the lisa as her team preped her car for the final against kenny after a shattered oil pump. She was a really cool chic and very down to earth. It was really a horrible feeling to watch, someone you were just chatting with for a good while, go down the 1320, and leave in an ambulance. During the final w/ Kenny something happened on the top end of her 8 sec pass and she lost control of her civic and swipped the wall. Fortunetly she got out of the car on her own and was loaded into the ambulance. I hope she is doing well and wish her the best.

Oh well, got to kick some *** on the street Alex, did you remind Paul to give my AC adapter to my laptop to Lawrence so he can ship it back to me? Thanks again for the hospitality back in houston.
