My hack on my d16y7 is f-up somehwere. the car is throwing code3 which is MAP sensor, And its knocking, now wont start either. Any masters here plz help me out. Also the car will not idle when it was running for a minute or so there. Maybe its my setting?

check your safc wiring, try a different map sensor, post your settings in your afc and what injectors are you running?

 

i check all the wiring already. got 450s in there now.

 

quick update,the car started and ran like ****. Still have code 3

 

what are your settings in your safc?

 

my setting are -45 across the whole rpm range for hi and lo. Btw the car ran now its just tooo rich. and misfire on 3rd cylinder.

 

whats your distributor set at? stock? do you have a resistor box?

 

did you put in check valves before the MAP sensor? MAP shouldn't be seeing boost if you're using a stock ecu and piggybacks

 

ok fix the miss fire, it was my plug. dizzy is at stock. I actually took the car for ride today. It felt good. boosting 5psi.
code 3 is fixed
code 73 fixed

Now just need to get a wideband to finely tune the A/F rate
