Default Noob question! want 700+hp?

Okay this is my first complete build up! i want to show my big headed friends that a honda can handle 700 horses and still be driven on the street! Now as for what i have done so far is as follows!

1995 gsr block
darton mid sleeves
eagle h-beam rods
arias 9:1 comp pistons
stock crank
new type r oil and water pump
jg victor x im
golden eagle fuel rail
fluidampr

gsr head
full p&P
supertech dual valvesprings
supertech titanium retainers

i purchased a hondata s300 system along with so many other parts.
i plan on running the motor for about 1000 miles before boosting it?
i"ve been looking at full-race turbo kits that go up to 700hp but not sure if that will work. any and all info will be greatly appreciated thank you very much!

No point in planning on making that much power for the street, because you will never hook that much power up on the street. Ever. And I know you don't plan to drive on slicks everyday. When you plan to make BIG power, you have to consider much other things as well such as tires, traction bars, full drag suspension etc. Otherwise you'll just have a dyno queen that doesn't go anywhere

yeah he's right.. when you make taht much power, you need a large turbo to make that power. Then there comes the lag time driving on the street.

Ill edit my post...t3/67 h.o. made 717whp on 93h22acx's setup...so he might see boost on the street unless he granny shifts and takes it easy all the time.

im at an estimated 350-375 hp and on the street with 430 front 545 rear lb/in springs, hassport mounts, tract bars, and drag radials daily, my car is pushing the being fun on the street boundary, especially first and second gear. Third grabs hard, but i also havent turned up the boost, or tuned cams or ignition yet.. You really dont need to plan to have ANY more than 350-400 on the street

You keep saying this, but in all his posts Geoff clearly states he's running Crower connecting rods.

Also, while on the topic of Eagle rods vs. everything else, check out this testamony.

I agree with Jim. 1000rwhp is a gray area with the standard manley H beam rods. Will they live? Probably. Do you want to be the owner of the set that lets go? I'm not crazy about manley rods in general. Seen too many that have let go. If you were talking about a Scat or even an Eagle Hbeam, I'd say go for it. We've made 1400-1500 with both of those. But I see way too many of the Manley's breaking just above their hp rating.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

He's talking about V8 applications, but he personally prefers Eagle rods to the awe-inspiring Manleys, and has built several 1000+ horsepower cars, and is a crew member on Tim Lynch's car. From This Post

PS, noob and 700+ HP don't belong in the same sentence. Yeah, it can be done. Yeah, it has been done. No, you're not going to be one to do it.

ho ****, i blew my engine up doing 300 hp!

don't worry, i think i got some more green burning up some reeaall big holes

alright alright, this time we got to 500 but now we cant even hold traction!

quick, go buy some more drag radials, i burned these bad boys up getting out of my driveway

NO ONE is making 700hp on stock internaled b16. i do assume you meant stock internals and not a stock n/a b16..if thats what you meant, go buy a mini van and call it a day.

gt40R and run the lowest spring like a 7 psi. The 3-4th gear freeway pulls is quite a ride. But remember anyone on here that has a 700 plus whp car, has nothing to prove on the street, keep the racing at the track.
