Default Noob ? abt turbos

I've been reading the forum for about a month now after deciding to turbo a stock B18B in my 92 hatch.. I pretty much know all the componants i need and have a good turbo guy to custom the piping and set everything up... my question is, what does AR and trim mean, and how do i know what will work best for my needs.. I'd rather hear form different people on the forum b/c my turbo guy holds true to T3/T04's only... he feels everyone should have one, lol... The turbo will be going on the engine with ignition, fuel, engine management upgrades in place, but stock internals for now.. I want a turbo thats going to give me ~300whp on upgraded internals and a decent # on stock (at a low psi, i know).. anyway, any response, personal experiences, etc for a FI noob would be much appreciated

The search function is your new best friend. Try search recent AND archived posts. You will find jusat about everything u need! The A/R thing has been described, as well as trying to understand trim numbers. For your particular application I would suggest either a T3 60 trim with .60/.63 A/R or a small T3/T04e like the 46 Trim. Just do some searching and you will be able to figure out what you need!
