non-vtec ecu in vtec engine?
I know it's a waste, but all I have that works right now is a P06 (non-vtec obd1) which I can chip for uberdata and run in my turbo b18c1.
Can I do this temporarily until my aem ems arrives?
What should I rev to without vtec? What kind of damage, if any, is caused by a high rev without vtec?

Just copy the high cam settings to the upper part of your non vtec map and trigger vtec with something else like a shift light or something. Hell ricers always want a vtec button lol.
Doesn't uberdata have an option for cel shift light? If so you could wire up the vtec solenoid to the wires that go to the cel. Just some random ideas. Really seems like to much trouble if you are getting the aem ems anyway.
As far as reving it up with out vtec engaging I did it a few times on my b16 when the coolant wasn't warmed up enough - seemed okay but that is all I can tell you.
Maybe someone else will step in.
