Default Non Daily Drivers



if your turbo car is not a daily driver...

what precaustions (sp??) do you take before driving it again? im talking about not driving it for a 1-2 weeks and then driving it again.

check fluids, let car fully warm up?

I let mine warm up and check the fluids before I start it.. Thats about it.. Also check the air pressure in your tires before you go out..

And I always stretch my arms before driving my civic, manual steering and welded diff, need I say more..

I just always check the fluids and let it warm up before driving. I just take it easy then for the first few minutes to make sure everything is cool then boost like a ****

as long as its not sitting for months at a time you should be fine.

start her up and make sure you temps are ok and you good.

Pull the oil pan and drop the crank to check the bearings, and then yank the pistons out to check the condition of the rings. Then put some new sleeves in and then you are good to go j/k

I usually won't start boosting if the car was sitting for 1+ month because of the fuel in the gas tank degrading over time. You should fill it up with fresh gas before unleashing the beast
