Default no oil pressure?

just installed my manifold, turbo, wastegate and oil lines ... now when i crank my motor to let the oil flow through, my oil pressure gauge shows 0 still and no oil is going through the nylon line. i disconnected it from behind the block and cranked it over and it does not shoot out oil... is it just something wrong with my connections like a plugged line? any help is appreciated. thanks

If no oil is coming out from where your sensor is with it disconnected...there is something wrong.

Is your oil pickup torqued down properly?

is this a new motor fresh build. Then most likely air i nthe system. you can prime the system by taking a line and feed oil backwareds through the threaded fitting just pump it through and then crank it a few times and it should kick it off

Did you fill the engine with oil before you tried to crank it over?

IF this is a brand new turbo install, cranking the motor will not make enough pressure to make oil come out of the feed. This scared the **** out of me when I did my turbo install, I thought something was wrong.

just start the car, but only let it run for a few seconds, enough that oil starts coming out of the feed. Then connect it to turbo and your good to go.
