i do have lights man. the car is at my house now. we have those floodlight things. the industrial ones.

 

put the wastegate on last night without a gasket, over me not having a downpipe or exhaust i could hear the turbo spooling a bit, but no bov sound even after we adjusted it... any ideas?

 

yea, a boost gauge.

the boost gauge was hooked up last night, and did not work. its not sitting on the zero even when the car is on/off-its just pegged-thats how i know

 

got a new boost gauge--took it for a test drive, i can hear the turbo spool--but gauge still says 0?

so do u have boost or not? regardless of bov "sound" or boost gauge reading you will FEEL boost, you either have it or you dont

 

how do you have your vac hooked up to the wastegate. what are you using for boost control.

 

she lives!!!!!! wooooo, it's all because i didn't put the flange on the downpipe to cover up some hole, it hits 5psi very nicely, thanks to justin (abitavenger) for coming down and helping me out with it
