Default Nitrous Tuning (Mastermind, NOS Progress., standalone)

Ive got everything except some kind of tuning tool. The jets will be dyno tuned, but I am trying to decide whether to use a:

NOS progressive controller
Jacobs N20 Mastermind
or
a standalone.

I think money will decide. Anyone have experience with the top two?

Jon

Thats actually what i was leaning towards. I have been looking into it, and I see that there are 2 different types of progressive controllers in general... since my setup is setup to come on at WOT when armed... I am looking into the time based controllers. There looks like there is a programabe progressive controller and a time based progressive controller...

TIME BASED

PROGRAMABLE
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...PnCntrllr.html

I am having a little trouble understanding the difference. Could someone explain. Is the Programable ONLY used for someone with 2 systems (ie. dry & direct port), or is it designed to simulate that kind of setup. Could someone explain the two.

Thanks,
Jon

bringing the thread back from the dead....

it looks like the time based one only lets you set the intitial N20% and how long it'll take to get from that % to 100%.

the programmable one lets you set the initial N20%, another intermediate N20% at a certain time, and then it goes to full N20, i believe.

now my question is: can standalones like AEM EMS do the same?

thanks.

i read that pulsing the soleniods isnt good for them? something about wearing them out and a chance one could stick open?

be careful..

its going to happen regardless (pulsing) is one of the only ways to regulate effectively....short of limiting flow
