Default Nitrous controller experiences

I am looking into getting a nitrous controller for nest year and was wondering what all of you have and what you thaink of the one that you have. If you have had a couple of different controllers let me know what you thought of them and a comparison of them. Second I am looking for instalation and operation instructions for all the popular contollers. The ones that im looking at include: Nitrous Express Maximizer (both the digital and the pda) http://www.prostreetonline.com...onics/ http://www.nitrousexpress.com/...b.pdf , NOS programable progressive controller http://www.mpsracing.com/products/NOS/no01b.asp , Schnitz progressive controller (looks the same as the NOS but cheaper and uglyer), Maximizer digital progressive control http://www.noswizard.com/progressive.php , and to a lesser extent the Dedenbear unit http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/nc...r=361.

I have the NX maximizer but the nitrous setup probably won't be ready until next summer. I was reading about the Maximiser and a lot of people are saying good things about them.

Do a search for the jacobs nitrous mastermind. I've seen great results with it.

For now I am planning to run up to a 100 shot. But would like to run more later as money permits and depending on how fast I wanna go. The car is always going to be streetable.

I run a Schnitz Progressive box. I like it alot its got all the right features. I paid 300.00 for it. You gotta wire them up correctly though. You need a relay on the negative side of the selonoids to reduce the load on the selonoid driver in the prog box. It doesn't like the amps from my pro shot selonoids , but you may get away without one if you have the smaller selonoids.

I dont understand why you need a controller for a 100 shot?
I run a 120 right out of the hole and have no problems with tracking or anything.

controllers are for multi shot systems or huge shots.

So your saying that you leave at a safe rpm to inject that much nitrous which would be like 6500 and your hammer down with a good hook. You must run 26's or you think spinning to a 1.8 60 is hooking. Also the guy said street car. I run 24.5's x 8.5 on the street full time and If I sray it with a 120 shot I spin a good part of third. At the track with my slicks on an 80 shot If I leave to agreessive I can spin bad. I had to launch at 2000 rpm on the bottle to rip a 1.65 60ft and thats not to good for your motor. Bottom line if your system is hitting like it should and you run 24.5's you won't hook with 120 shot.

All i got to say is sucks to be you if you can't hook up a 80 shot!
And i do launch at 7000 rmp.so you are right i do inject at a safe rmp. He's way better off putting the money he's going to spend on a $300-$500 controller into some nice spuspension or tires/slicks!

I am only running 22x8x15 slicks and the track that I run at usually has some crappy traction. I am also considering trying some drag radials because im lazy and dont want the change my tires at the track and so that I can play with the nitrous on the street. With my old D series setup and and a 55 shot it was about right so I think that with my new GSR setup and up to a 100 shot I think it will need something to stop the spinning, but I could be wrong, I have to test it to know what it needs.

I don't get it . I told you what I 60'd on an 80 shot , which for the weight of my car I don't think it gets much better 2150lbs . As for you I guess I hit the nail right on the head.

I have must of missed read your post.I am not here to start a fight with anyone bro.But you must know something no one else knows, for you to take a 2150 pound coup and only launch at 2k rpm and get a 1.6 60ft time bro.

maybe your putting down alot of hp to pull that weight out of the hole that fast?

maybe he knows his car better than you know your car, and how he drives it shows it runs good numbers.
