Default Nitrous timing retardation required?

I believe this was the correct section to post this, N2o is pretty much FI.

Anyhow so Im pretty sure Im set on adding a Dry shot of nitrous to my car. It is built as a DD autoX car, although the spray is just for fun not competing. I dont need people telling me to boost, that would put my car in a unwanted class. I can easily remove the tank before heading to the track and be good. Its a little harder to quickly remove a turbo...

Here is a run down of my build, basically a factory stroked Euro-R red top;

-Stock H23aV with .010" mill = 10.6:1 to now 11.0:1
-Euro-R intake manifold w/ 68mm S2 TB
-Euro-R T2W4 lsd trans
-Euro-R/type-S cams
-Brian crower duel rate valve springs w/ matching retainers
-K-series RDX 550cc@70psi injectors
-Aeromotive 340lph drop in fuel pump
-KS balance shaft delete/KS tensioner
-8lbs flywheel
-AEM tru-time adjustable cam gears
-Tuned on Neptune RTP
-lots more...

Ive read many threads, lots were un answered or contradicting info....

I was originally going to run a 50 shot, but now Im leaning towards a 75. From what I read 100 shot is doable semi-reliable on a stock bottom end, 75 seems more middle ground.

I've read as a rule of thumb retard the ignition timing 1 degree for every 50 of spray. I want to run as big of a shot I can without having to play with my timing.

For the 75 shot do I need to really try to get a 1-1/2 or even 2 degrees? Or is that something only to be determined at the tuners?

I dont imagine 2 degrees ignition timing would have that much effect on NA performance would it?

Wouldnt colder plugs alleviate the retarding issue?

I would just take it to get tuned so bit makes the most out of it.
